DRACUT – The family of Francis D. Dubuc are sad to report on his passing on Friday, October 13, 2017 at Palm Manor, Chelmsford, MA as a result of declining health due to dementia.  His family has been by his side.  Frank was born on September 12, 1928 in Lowell to parents, Delphis and Marie (Allard) Dubuc.

He was educated at Ste. Jeanne d’Arc School for Boys.  Alongside his father, Frank learned the mechanical operations of the factories and mills in Lowell.

After 32 years of government service, He retired in 1990. Then, he worked at various handyman jobs.  Frank took great joy in working with his hands.

Frank enjoyed traveling with his family to his sister in law’s farm in Iowa and to Florida to visit with family.  He enjoyed restful Sunday’s watching football.  Frank was proud of his French Canadian heritage, and was a past member of the Pawtucketville Social Club.

Besides his parents, he was pre deceased by his younger brother, Albert, his younger sister Estelle and her husband Earl Goodin, his wife of 58 years Doris “Vicky” Couture, and an infant son, Gerald.

He is survived by his younger brother Arthur and wife, Ruth Dubuc.  His son, Francis A. “Frank” Dubuc and his companion Robin Lizotte; daughters Denise and husband George Thomas, Pamela “Penny” and her husband Michael Donoghue, and Anita and her husband Athanasios Kotsironis; grandchildren Cassandra (Thomas) and husband Arron Fyfe, Amanda Thomas, Laura Thomas, Christian Edwards, Meghan (Edwards) and her husband Petty Officer OS1 Anthony DeSalvo (US Coast Guard), Sable and her husband Ed Ostra, Katherine Donoghue, Brendan Dubuc, Athanasia Kotsironis; great grandsons Oliver and Owen Fyfe.  Also, he is survived by his sister-in-law Constance “Connie” Weise and brothers-in-law Gerald Couture, and Raymond and his wife Sandra Couture.  As well as many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.  He will be sadly missed.
