Mrs. V. Betty (Babaletos) Goulas, age 88, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, died on Thursday afternoon, November 23, 2017, at her daughter’s home in Ayer, surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of the late Peter D. Goulas.

Born in Lowell on July 17, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Mary (Kyriakakos) Babaletos.  Her brothers James and George predeceased her.

Betty was a homemaker and raised her family for several years and later was employed as an assembler for Raytheon Co.

Betty always had a smile on her face and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving her are two daughters and a son-in-law, Ann Goulas of Chelmsford and Elaine Paul and her husband, Bill, of Ayer; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Peter Goulas and his wife, Wendy, of North Chelmsford and Paul Goulas and his girlfriend, Kate Connors of Chelmsford; four grandchildren, Richard MacLean and his wife Amy, Peter Goulas and his wife Quyen, Elizabeth Martins and Andrew Paul; three great grandchildren, Skye Whitlow, Shea MacLean and Cassidy MacLean; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Steve and Helen Goulas of Lowell; also several nieces and nephews.  

Her funeral service and burial were held privately at Westlawn Cemetery, Lowell.  Those wishing may make a donation in her memory to a charity of their choice.
