Joshua Wayne Primeau, age 33, a former longtime resident of Tyngsborough, passed away on Tuesday, July 11, 2017.

Born in Lowell on July 7, 1984, he was the son of Pamela J. (Alley) Hitchcock and the late Wayne J. Primeau.

Joshua was educated in the Tyngsborough school system and was a graduate of Tyngsborough High School class of 2002. 

Joshua loved spending time with his beautiful daughters, Audrey and Adele, he enjoyed singing and dancing, making arts and crafts, outdoor adventures, but most of all, making them laugh.  He was passionate about writing music, playing guitar, cooking enormous amounts of food, drawing and creating art, being outdoors, and loved being with his family and friends.  He was known for his sense of humor and his infectious laugh.  He was a genuine soul of gold with a lot of love to give and was blessed with the ability to make friends on the spot.

Joshua was self-employed and owned his own business as a licensed contractor.  He was also an EMT and a volunteer Tyngsborough Firefighter.

He is survived by his mother, Pamela J. (Alley) Hitchcock and stepfather Jeffrey Hitchcock of Pelham, NH; his sister and brother in law, Jenna and Mark Koch of Dracut; he was a wonderful father and provider to his two daughters, Audrey and Adele Primeau, and a loving husband to Rebecca Primeau of Tyngsborough; his maternal grandparents, Rita Alley (Sitto) and the late Henry Alley of Tyngsborough; his paternal grandparents; William and Jean Primeau of Dunstable, and the late Beverly Primeau; a niece and two nephews, Quinn, Camden and Corbin Koch; his sweet sunshine of love, Kelly Welch of Dracut; his aunts and uncles, Brian and Ronda Alley of Hudson, NH, David Alley of FL, Robyn Stevenson of FL, Bill and Carol Primeau of Tyngsborough, Malinda and Joe Silva of Seabrook, Pam and Ron Simonds of TX, Ron Clegg of Seabrook and the late Beverly Clegg, Timothy Primeau of NH; his step brother Jeffrey and Brenda Hitchcock of Billerica and step sister Vikki Foley of Lowell, also several cousins and many dear friends.

Joshua Wayne Primeau, age 33, formerly of Tyngsborough, died July 11, 2017.  Relatives and friends will be received at the Lowell First Church of the Nazarene, 1195 Varnum Avenue, Lowell on Saturday morning from 9:30 to 11 a.m.  His memorial service will take place immediately following at 11 a.m. Burial will be private in Tyngsborough Memorial Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please make donations to benefit the Audrey & Adele Primeau Scholarship Fund www.youcaring.com/PrimeauScholarshipFund
