Yvette A. (Duff) Landry

Yvette A. (Duff) Landry, age 93, a resident of Dracut, passed away peacefully in her home with family by her side on Thursday, December 26, 2024. She was the beloved wife of the late Paul E. Landry. 

She was born in Lowell on June 2, 1931, a daughter of the late Alpherie and Agnes (Rodrigue) Duff.  Yvette received her education from the Lowell school system.

Prior to her retirement, she worked for many years at the former Educator Biscuit Company, often referred to as the Crax.

Yvette loved being with and spoiling her family. She made sure to send them a card for every occasion.  Each card would contain something special and would always be signed with, “Have a nice day!”.  She enjoyed spending time at Lake Winnipesaukee and in her younger days, had the opportunity to fly the maiden voyage of the first Boeing 707, the exact plane that her husband had assisted in building.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews, including Leo and Terri Perrin; Ernest and Monique Perrin; Amanda Perrin and her husband Rick Lawrenson, Jaclyn and Leo Fontaine, Heather Perrin and Christopher Perrin; Julia Simmons, Brody Simmons, Yvette Fontaine, Lillian Fontaine, Hailey Stamp, James Hill; also her best friend, Linda Madden Mulcahy and her dog Luna. 

She was the sister of the late Rita Maydole, Eugene Duff, Marie Sapolsky, Claire Lamarre, Maurice Duff, Therese Perrin, Muriel Carter, Estelle Gagnon, Arthur Duff, Raymond Duff and Henry Duff.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather, share stories and celebrate Yvette’s life on Friday, Jan. 3, from 2 p.m to 4 p.m. at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive., Tyngsborough.   A prayer service will take place immediately following at 4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to Tufts Medicine Hospice Care will be appreciated.
