Yvette G. (Cote) Goyette
DRACUT – Yvette G. (Cote) Goyette, age 94, a long-time resident of Dracut, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 17, 2020. She was the loving wife of the late Philippe A. Goyette who died in 2010.
Born in Lowell on August 16, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Thomas and Marie (April) Cote.
She grew up in “Little Canada” and was a graduate of St. Joseph’s School and a parishioner of Ste Marguerite D’Youville Parish.
Prior to her retirement, she worked as a stitcher and later became a supervisor for the former Nathan Solomon Co. in Lowell where they made sleepwear.
Yvette loved to read and play cards but most of all she loved spending time with her grandsons and family.
She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Carole I. McOsker and her husband John of Dracut; two grandsons, Daniel J. McOsker of Dracut and Philip J. McOsker of Dracut; a brother and sister-in-law, Louis and Doris Cote of Lowell; also several nieces and nephews.
She was also the sister of the late Irene Lacerte, Leo Cote, Arthur Cote and Albert Cote.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Wednesday, Dec. 23, at 11 a.m. at Ste. Marguerite D’Youville Parish, 1340 Lakeview Ave., Dracut. Committal services will be private at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. To ensure everyone’s safety, those attending the services will be required to wear a mask and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, c/o Ste. Marguerite D’Youville Conference, 1340 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, MA 01826.
