William G. Storace, 83, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, MA and most recently of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, surrounded by his family. Born in Medford, MA on May 6th, 1942, he was the son of Eleanor (Helen) and Augustine (Gus) Storace.
Bill grew up in Medford and graduated from Medford High School. After completing his education, he began what became a dedicated 35+ year career with Polaroid. He took great pride in his work and in the friendships he formed there over the years.
On August 2, 1970, Bill married the love of his life, Joanne Ruth Storace, in Medford. The two shared a beautiful partnership built on curiosity, warmth, and quiet joy. They loved attending plays, reading books by the lake, cheering on their kids at countless sporting events, exploring new restaurants, and traveling throughout the east coast. Together, they raised two children who were the center of their world: William Storace Jr. of New Boston, NH, and Matthew Storace of Nashua, NH.
A devoted Boston sports fan, Bill rarely missed a game and celebrated every win; especially when he could share it with his family. He was also a huge lover of music. Whether it was Johnny Cash, Bruce Springsteen, Elvis, or any of the classics he grew up with, he always found comfort and joy in the songs that shaped his generation.
Bill is survived by his two loving sons, William Jr. and his wife Amanda, and Matthew; his cherished granddaughters, Maya and Paige; his brother Larry Storace and his wife Lois; and many nieces and nephews whom he cared for deeply.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Joanne Storace; his parents, Eleanor and Augustine; and his sister, Marie Toscano.
Bill will be remembered for his steady presence, his love for family, and the quiet, meaningful way he brought warmth into the lives of those around him.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Tyngsborough Funeral Home on Tuesday, Dec. 16, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. His Committal service will follow at 12:45 p.m. in the Chapel at St. Mary Cemetery, Tewksbury.
