William “Bill” Hunnewell, age 62, a resident of Tyngsborough, passed away quietly, pain free in his sleep on Thursday, March 14, 2024 surrounded by family. He was the loving husband of 24 years to his wife Donna Hunnewell. Surviving him in addition to his wife are his son, Robert and daughter Jessica Hunnewell; two sisters, Linda Hunnewell and Suzanne Roark along with nieces, nephews and many dear friends.
Bill was born in Lowell on October 22, 1961; he was the son of the late Myron and Mildred (Thompson) Hunnewell. He was a graduate of Greater Lowell Technical High School; where he graduated with honors at 15 for carpentry, going on to start his first company building houses shortly after.
As the owner operator of Royal Haven Builders, Bill was well known for his dedication to high quality work. He loved his craft and never missed an opportunity to share that love with the countless friends he made throughout his career. Bill donated to many charities, and supported his wife who founded her own charity, The Wish Project
Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough, on Thursday, March 21, from 10 am to 12 noon followed by a Funeral Home service at 12 noon. Committal Service will take place in Lowell Cemetery.
