Walter J. Dubey, age 70, a resident of Tyngsborough, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband and best friend of Sandra (Gacek) Dubey, with whom he shared over 48 years of marriage.

Walter worked in construction for many years and he also served as a volunteer firefighter for the town of Westford for over 25 years.
He enjoyed making walking sticks and he loved spending time with his grandsons. Walter had heart of gold, a wonderful sense of humor, and was always coming up with jokes or would just start singing to put a smile on people's faces. He will be deeply missed by his family and many friends
Surviving him in addition to his wife are a daughter Kristi Dubey and her fiancé Charles Cate; two grandsons, Davin Rossi and Jacob Grenda; a sister, Ethel Leduc; nieces and nephews; his extended family; the Canales’s; and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother Raymond Dubey.
Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Friday, May 24, from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a donation in Walter’s memory to the Tyngsborough Council on Aging, 169 Westford Rd., Tyngsborough, MA 01879.
