Victor Clement Obituary

NASHUA - Mr. Victor Russell Clement, 92, of Nashua NH (formerly of Dracut, MA) passed away on Saturday, June 8th 2024 at Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of the late Ann Shirley Clement, the love of his life, with whom he was married for 64 wonderful years.

Born in Lowell on April 25, 1932, he was the son of the late Aurore and Joseph Harvey Clement Sr. and was educated in the Lowell school system.

Russell served in the US Military for three years during the Korean conflict. He was assigned to Tank Company, Eighth Infantry Regiment, APO 39 US Army stationed in Germany. He was honorably discharged on September 22nd, 1953.

He spent his career working for the city of Lowell serving his community. After retirement, he was employed at Mobil gas station in Chelmsford for 15 years, which brought him much joy interacting with the customers.

Russell enjoyed dancing with his wife and spending time with his ever-growing family. He was looking forward to welcoming another great-grandchild Cayden Clement this fall.

He is survived by his four sons: Leo and his wife Terry of Merrimack, NH; Russell and his wife Liz of Nashua, NH; Rheal and his wife Jean, Tony and his wife Anne, all of Tyngsboro, MA. Twelve grandchildren: Jason and his wife Katie, Heather and her husband Blake Norris, all of Pepperell, MA; Nicole Clement of Nashua, NH; Melissa and her husband Matthew Campbell of Hudson, NH; Ryan Clement of Sommerville, MA; Ashley Clement of Manchester, NH; Corey Clement and his wife Larissa of Merrimack, N.H; Angela Clement of Tyngsboro, MA; Sandra Duncan of Puerto Rico; Nancy Levasseur of Nashua NH; JoAnn Gomes of Merrimack NH; and Deven Gagne of Nashua NH. Twelve great grandchildren: Elizabeth Clement, Odin Norris, Liam and Natalie Campbell, Niko and CJ Clement, Jessica Ford, Vanessa Gomes, Melinda Mooney, Amber Levasseur, George Stinnet, and Matrix Duncan. Five great-great grandchildren: Cordera Levasseur, Evelyn and Orion Mooney, Layla and Maya Ford. Many nieces, nephews and friends who he loved dearly.

He is predeceased by seven siblings: Claire Gauthier, Jeannette Reavley, Ruthy Mangas, Doris Bousquet, Harvey, Leo and Raymond Clement.

Services will be held Friday, June 14th, 2024, at Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsboro, MA; visiting hours 5:00 – 7:00 PM. Funeral on Saturday, June 15th at 10:30 AM in the Funeral Home followed by burial at St. Joseph Cemetery 96 Riverneck Road East, Chelmsford, MA.
