Valerie G. (Hanson) Joyce, age 65, passed away on May 3, 2018 after a period of declining health. Born May 26, 1952 in Hudson, Massachusetts, she lived in Lowell and worked at Avco/Textron/Ballard for many years. Valerie is survived by her children, Michael Joyce and his partner Gary Premo, Kristina (Joyce) Landry and her husband Brian, Adam Joyce, and two grandchildren, Matthew Landry and Tyler Landry. She is also survived by her former spouse, John Joyce and many sisters and brothers. She was pre-deceased by her two sons, Paul and Jeffrey Joyce. No services will be held per her wishes.
