Thomas “Tom” Tran Nguyen, age 41, a resident of Naples, FL and formerly of Chelmsford, MA, passed away suddenly on March 26, 2025 at his home from complications from myocarditis. 

Born in Lowell on May 1, 1983 he was the son of Nghia and Quy D. (Tran) Nguyen of Chelmsford.  Tom was educated in the Chelmsford school system and was a graduate of Chelmsford High School. He was currently employed as an IT Associate of Cybersecurity for BCB Homes in Naples, Florida.

Tom was trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and often competed in tournaments and instructed other students.

Surviving him in addition to his loving parents are a sister and brother-in-law, Linda Rubin and her husband Daniel Rubin; two nieces, Eleanor and Eve Rubin; many aunts, uncle, cousins and dear friends.

Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough on Friday, April 4, from 4 to 8 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 6:30 p.m. His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 5, at 11 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Mary Magdalen, 95 Lakeview Avenue, Tyngsborough. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
