Thomas O'Donnell Jr. Obituary

TYNGSBOROUGH – Thomas J. O’Donnell Jr., aka Tom, Thom, TJ, T and Weedge, age 40, a resident of Tyngsborough, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021, at the Lowell General Hospital. He was the husband and best friend of Meredith C. (Bean) O’Donnell to whom he had been married for twelve years and loving father of James, Devin and Elizabeth.

Born in Winchester, MA on June 26, 1981, he was a son of Cynthia (Sebastian) Alexander and her husband Mark of Tyngsborough and the late Thomas J. O’Donnell Sr. He was educated in the Tyngsborough School system and was a graduate of Tyngsborough High School Class of 1999.

He was currently employed as a machinist for Hitchiner Manufacturing in Milford, NH.

TJ loved being a dad and spending time with family and friends.  He had a passion for all things Halloween and Haunts.  He also enjoyed Metal music, gaming, and attending the Highland games in full gear.

TJ, Meri and Beth would take long “rides to nowhere” and usually end up at the beach house in York Maine for some good quality family time.

He loved all Boston Sports, especially his Bruins, which he attended many games with his cousin Eric Thorpe.

He was an avid reader who loved a good murder mystery and sharing the good ones with his mother and brother.

At a young age, he learned about empathy and helping others in need and would do volunteer work when he could. In fact, he will continue to help those in need whereas he was an organ donor.

TJ loved to laugh and especially loved to make others laugh.  We will miss his jolly laughter. He leaves a huge hole in this world and the everafter is blessed to have him.

We love you and miss you TJ…….mmmmmmm Bye!

Surviving him in addition to his wife Meri and his mother and step father are his three children; James C. O’Connell, Devin S. O’Connell and Elizabeth O’Donnell; his brother, Blake D. Alexander of Hudson, NH; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ernie and Vivian Bean of Tyngsborough; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Heather and Dennis Gibbons of Leominster; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
