Suzanne M. (Dragon) Ayotte, age 85, a longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away on Tuesday, October 3, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert A. Ayotte who died in 2014.
Born in Lowell on January 31, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Reginald V. and Alice C. (Gaudette) Dragon. She received her early education from Ste. Jeanne d’arc School and was a graduate of St. Joseph High School.
She was a longtime parishioner of the former Ste Jeanne d’Arc Church and then St. Mary Magdalen Parish. Suzanne was a member of the Blessed Virgin Sodality and along with her late husband was an active supporter of the St. Vincent de Paul Society.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as a secretary by Dr. George V. Gianis, OD.
She is survived by a sister-in-law, Priscille (Paradis) Dragon; a brother-in-law, Gerard Ayotte; three nephews, David Heroux, Carl Heroux, and Peter Drogan; and a niece, Patricia Dragon. She was also the sister of the late Paul R. Dragon, Ruth Heroux and Sister Suzanne Marie s.c.o.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Mass which will be celebrated on Thursday, Oct. 12, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 95 Lakeview Avenue Tyngsborough. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Those attending the Funeral are asked to meet directly at church. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in her memory to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, St. Mary Magdalen Conference, 95 Lakeview Ave., Tyngsborough, MA 01879.
