Steven Hayden Obituary

Steven Paul Hayden of Tyngsboro, passed away on March 26, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Lowell, MA on August 10, 1964, son of the late Paul G. Hayden and the late Marsha (Hoyt) Landry. Steve was a class of 1982 graduate of Greater Lowell Vocational Technical High School.

Steve is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Laforge) whom he met on November 27, 1986. They were married on November 27, 2011. They had two sons, Hunter Paul and Chase Steven both of Tyngsboro. Steve is also survived by his brother, Brad, his wife Cheryl and their daughter Casey.  Sister, Heather and Mike Rampino and their daughter Alissa, and Sister Tracy Vallee and her children Lucas and Layna. Also his father's wife Joanne, mother's husband Richard Landry, mother in law, Helen Laforge and all of the Laforge family. Steve's uncle Scotty, and his aunt, Janie Cowgill and her children Emmy, Carrie and Cliff.  Besides Steve's parents, he is also predeceased by his brother Sean, whose children are Evan and Madeline, his father in law Paul W. Laforge and Beth's brother Eddie.

I wish to acknowledge his close friends, Paul Pintal and Denis Ascolillo who were with him until the end.

Steve was a gifted artist who also enjoyed swimming, chess, cards, pool, frisbee golf, camping, concerts, the Golden Gloves, and telling his many stories. Steve and Beth resided in Las Vegas for 16 years, where Hunter and Chase were born, before moving back to Massachusetts with his family. He leaves behind his dear friends from Las Vegas, the late Eric Carlson and his wife Donna and Cindy, Christian and Brooke Robinson.

There will be a Celebration of Life gathering at the Tyngsboro American legion on Friday, April 18th from 6 to 10 PM. All family and friends of Steve and his family are invited to share their memories of the kind, caring, funny, loyal man that Steve was. Traits that Steve embodied with integrity throughout his life. He loved and was loved, and will be truly missed.
