Stephen W. Smith

Stephen W. Smith, age 69, a resident of Lowell, passed away on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at the Lowell General Hospital.  He was the husband of Ann Marie (Sweeney) Smith. 

Born in Lowell on February 3, 1956, he was a son of the late Leonard M. and Claire (Pratt) Smith. 

Prior to his retirement, Stephen had worked for Servpro and more recently for Pool Pro.

He enjoyed puzzles and carpentry and was always working around the house and in his yard.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are seven children, Shirley Smith, Claire Smith, Jodi DeMont, Tabatha DeMont, Samantha DeMont, Angel Gonzalez, Patti DeMont and Jimmy DeMont; several grandchildren, many brothers and  sisters including Shirley Smith Carr and her husband Scott; and nieces and nephews.

He was also the father of the late Donald DeMont and Rose Demont.

In accordance with his wishes, there will be no Funeral services.
