Sandra G. Castellano

Sandra G. Castellano, age 54, a longtime resident of Tyngsboro and former resident of Chelmsford, passed away on July 1, 2019, in Lowell after a tough battle with cancer.

Born in Lowell, on August 28, 1964, she was the daughter of the late Edward J. and Simone L. (Bergeron) Castellano. She was a member of the Class of 1982, attending Tyngsboro schools and the Greater Lowell Regional Votec.

Sandra was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. She had a passion for knitting, road trips to the beach and loved spending time spent with her nephew Nicholas.

Prior to her illness, she was employed as a chef by the Radisson Hotel and Suites in Chelmsford. She was not only passionate about her work but her work family.

She is survived by two brothers, Thomas Castellano of Chelmsford and Edward Castellano and his partner Sheryl of Hudson, NH; two nephews, Christopher Castellano and Nicholas Sargent; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was also the sister of the late Pamela Sargent.

Sandy will be remembered by all for her contagious smile and big heart.
