Rosanne “Mema” Gregory
TYNGSBOROUGH – Rosanne “Mema” Gregory, age 68, a resident of Tyngsborough and a former resident of Westford, passed away after a seven year fight with metastatic breast cancer, on Tuesday morning, August 18, 2020 at her home, with family by her side.
Born in Boston, on July 22, 1952, she was a daughter of the late Vincent and Roberta (Hazlett) Gregory.
She was educated in the Medford school system and was a graduate of Medford High School class of 1970. She then attended Bunker Hill College and earned an Associate’s degree.
Prior to her retirement, she was employed as an office manager for the Lyons Zaremba Company. Mema also was very active with the Special Olympics.
Mema enjoyed cooking, laughing, sitting on the beach with her toes in the sand and the holidays, especially Christmas. But what she loved the most was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, the late Charlotte Geotis, Laura Geotis LeClair, Patricia Sadler Wells and her husband David, Dwight Sadler and his wife Colleen, Vincent Sadler and his girlfriend Michelle Norris, Amy Miller and Julia Miller; nine grandchildren, Bobbyjeanne Gregory, Matthew LeClair, Molly Fiore, Jakob Sadler, Ivy Wells, Wyatt Sadler, Hunter Sadler, Alexander Sadler and Vanessa Sadler; two great grandchildren, Maddox and Malcolm Liilii and a grandson on the way; her brother and sisters, Donna Mondello and her husband Joseph, Richard Gregory and his wife Ann Marie and Celeste Asaro; her former spouse, Michael Miller; also many nieces and nephews and many more that called her Mom.
Relatives and friends are invited to a Celebration of “Mema” on Saturday, August 22, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough. Those attending will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing to ensure everyone’s safety. Burial will be private in Pine Grove Cemetery, Westford.
