Rolande M. A. (Frigon) Gervais
resident of Lowell; age 88
Mrs. Rolande M. A. (Frigon) Gervais, age 88, a longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, died on July 2, 2018 in Lowell. She was the wife of the late Norman Louis Gervais who died in 2014.
Born in Shawinigan Falls, P.Q. Canada, on January 27, 1930, she was a daughter of the late William and Alida (Veilleux) Frigon.
Rolande was very strong in her Catholic Faith and was a parishioner of the former Ste Jeanne d’Arc Church and more recently the Parish of St. Rita, where she had been a member of the Women’s Club.
Prior to her retirement, she performed clerical work for General Electric and the State of Massachusetts DCF Program.
Rolande enjoyed the outdoors and camping trips with her husband. She also loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and their families.
She is survived by two sisters and a brother in law, Monique Blanchette of Dracut and Gissele Boutet and her husband Claude of Canada; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many dear friends.
She was also the sister of the late Madeleine, Henri, Omer and Leo.

Relatives and friends may call at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough, on Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Saturday morning, with a funeral mass to be celebrated at 9 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Rita, 158 Mammoth Road, Lowell. Those attending the funeral mass are asked to meet directly at church. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ste Jeanne d’Arc School, 68 Dracut St., Lowell or Parish of St. Rita, 158 Mammoth Rd., Lowell.
