Roland G. Beausoleil

Roland G. Beausoleil, age 84, a longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2022, at the Lowell General Hospital.  For over 58 years he was the loving husband of Doris C. (Boulanger) Beausoleil. 

Born in Lowell on July 11, 1937, he was a son of the late Edouard and Yvonne (Rondeau) Beausoleil. 

Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an electrician with the IBEW Local 103.

Roland was a simple and private man who was most comfortable sitting in his rocking chair enjoying the company of family and friends.

Surviving him in addition to his wife Doris are three children, Jacqueline Widmayer and her husband Michael of Tyngsborough, Denise Belleville and her husband Richard of Lowell and Kenneth Beausoleil of North Providence, RI; his grandchildren, Adam, Ashley and Aimee Belleville, Tasha and Annie Widmayer, Danya Grimaldi, Evan Beausoleil and the late Alyssa Belleville; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Marilyn Beausoleil of FL; a sister, Pauline Hall of Lowell; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Anne Clark of OR, Donald Boulanger of NH, Roland Boulanger and his wife Julie of CA, Herve Boulanger and his wife Cheryl of MA, Gerard Boulanger and his wife Denise of NH, Claire Mood of NH and Linda Ducharme and her husband Paul of NH; also many nieces and nephews.

 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass to be celebrated on Friday, Jan. 14, at 11:30 a.m. in Ste Marguerite D’Youville Parish, 1340 Lakeview Avenue, Dracut. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Those wishing may make a memorial donation in his name to the St. Vincent de Paul Society, Ste Marguerite D’Youville Conference, 1340 Lakeview Ave., Dracut, MA 01826 or Ste.
