Robert R. L’Heureux
NASHUA- Robert R. “Bob” L’Heureux, age 77, a resident of Nashua, died peacefully in Boston on Tuesday, August 23, 2022, with his family by his side. He was the husband of Lillian “Lil” (Gagne) L’Heureux and the late Diane R. (Johnson) L’Heureux.
Born in Lowell, on June 9, 1945, he was the son of the late Arthur C. and Annette R. (Leduc) L’Heureux. He was educated in the Lowell school system and was a graduate of the Lowell Trade school.
He was self-employed as a carpenter and had also worked for many years for the Deck House Company.
Bob was a quiet and simple man who loved golf, the Red Sox, the Patriots and playing cribbage. Spending time with his great-grandsons brought him so much joy.
Surviving him in addition to his wife Lil are his children, Robin L. Silva and her husband Carlos of Lowell, Robert A. L’Heureux and his wife Paula of Weymouth and Richard P. L’Heureux and his wife Tracy of Merrimack, NH; two step children, Coleen Levasseur of Pelham and Douglas Levasseur and his companion Amanda Howe of Utah; a sister, Annette Bridge of Nashua and a brother-in-law Roger Gagne of Pelham; five grandchildren, Amanda Huntress and her husband Joseph, Derrick Silva, Alyssa Silva and her companion Sean Resendes, Casey L’Heureux and Rebecca L’Heureux; two great grandchildren, Zachary Huntress and Ethan Penedo; his beloved Golden Retriever Annie as well as several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Sunday, August 28, from 2 to 5 p.m. His Funeral Service will take place in the Funeral Home on Monday morning at 10 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery Chelmsford.
