Robab Moradmand, age 94, a beloved resident of Lowell, passed away peacefully at her home on April 9, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was the widow of the late Ali Mohammadipour.
Born in Isfahan, Iran, on November 1, 1930, Robab was the daughter of the late Ghasem and Aghabagom Moradmand. She was a sister to Hossein Zarreh, Parviz Zarreh, and the late Hassan Moradmand, Ali Zarreh, and Hormooz Zarreh.
At a young age Robab unexpectedly became a single mom and courageously raised her four young boys on her own. She remarried briefly later in life and welcomed a beautiful baby girl into the world. In addition to being a devoted and loving mother, Robab was an exceptional seamstress and an extraordinary cook. Her meals were unmatched as they were crafted with immense love and care. If she wasn’t nourishing you with her delicious food she was feeding your soul with her boundless love and wise advice.
Robab was a beacon of inspiration, embodying the essence of a strong, open-minded woman who selflessly gave herself to help others. She always strived to make others happy, whether through her heartfelt advice, a helping hand, or moving heaven and earth to fulfill their needs. We often joke that if Mom were born in today’s era, she would undoubtedly be a woman of great influence or a trusted advisor.
Her legacy of love, strength, and generosity continues to inspire us all.
Robab is survived by her five children: Bahram Mohammadipour, Behrooz Mohammadipour and his wife Farideh, Bahman Mohammadipour, Bijan Mohammadipour and his wife Zahra, and Behnaz Champey and her husband James. She also leaves behind nine grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two daughters-in-law, Manijeh and Soudabeh.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Robab’s family on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough. Her graveside service and burial will follow at 12 noon at the Westlawn II Cemetery in Lowell.
