Richard R. Dube
of Lowell; age 88
Mr. Richard R. Dube, age 88, a longtime resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away on October 20, 2018 in Chelmsford.
He was the beloved husband of Claire Y. (Lozeau) Dube.
Born in Waterbury, CT, on April 7, 1930, he was a son of the late Louis and Laura (LaCouture) Dube.
He was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the United States Marine Corps.
Richard was a parishioner of the former Ste Jeanne d’Arc Church and more recently of the Parish of Saint Rita.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed as a truck driver for the Nye Enamel A.C Company.
Richard was an avid sports fan and enjoyed playing golf, bowling and softball.
Surviving him in addition to his wife Claire are three sisters in law, Rita Maille of Chelmsford, Alice Brunelle of Dracut and Therese Hudon of Lowell; also several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
He was also the brother of the late Raymond, Roger, Normand and Gilbert.
DUBE – Mr. Richard R. Dube. Relatives and friends will be received on Wednesday morning from 8:30 to 9:30 at the R.W. MARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 308 Pawtucket St., Lowell. His Funeral Mass will take place at 10 a.m. in the Parish of Saint Rita, 158 Mammoth Road, Lowell. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
