Peter Francis Carr

It is with great sadness that his wife, Lisa A. Parlee Carr. Son, Peter F. Parlee Carr and his adopted daughter Brenna L. Parlee announce the passing of Peter Carr, age 58 of Tyngsboro, MA on Friday, September 18, 2020.

Peter was a research and development engineer for Draeger Medical Systems until his health forced him to retire in 2018 after a career that began in a high school work program. He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, dirt bike and ATV riding, snowmobiling and anything that allowed him to spend time with his family which included his granddaughters. (Kora), Kora Mae Parlee Kerrigan, (Lilly), Lillyana Marie Parlee Kerrigan, (Lissa) Jolissa Rose Parlee Kerrigan and Piper Liann Parlee Kerrigan.

Anyone who was blessed to be loved by Peter learned that love is truly the acceptance of who you are and kindness. Peter never tried to change anyone and accepted the good and bad in everybody he encountered. He was fair, extremely intelligent, funny, hardworking, honorable and very easy to get along with and truly enjoyed seeing the people he loved succeeding and just being happy and spending time together.  He was a man that would rush home from work to be with his family. Peter’s greatest achievement in life and his greatest love was the family he created which include his in laws Frederick H. Parlee and Patricia Parlee of Chelmsford, MA. And his dog Blaze who became his protector during his illness. His dog Karli passed after Peter became ill in 2018.

Peter was born in Brockton, MA to Rose Columbo Blanchard of Alton, NH and William Carr of Louisville, KY who preceded him in death in 2017. His sister Felicia West of Derry, NH also preceded him in death in 2017.
