Pauline D. Porder
NASHUA – Pauline D. (Morin) Porder, age 93, a longtime resident of Nashua, passed away peacefully at her home on May 26, 2022, with loved ones by her side. She was the wife of the late Charles Porder who passed in 1987. Born in Lowell November 8, 1928, she was daughter of the late Philippe and Alma (Soucy) Morin. She was educated at the former St. Louis School and was a graduate of St. Louis Academy.
Pauline was a devout Catholic and longtime parishioner of St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Nashua. She was also a longtime member of the D’Youville Ladies Guild, St. Louis Academy Alumni and the Nashua Senior Citizens. She was an avid reader, enjoyed a lifetime of knitting and crocheting, traveling, and reveled in the arts – enjoying many years attending theater, symphony and ballet performances.
Pauline touched many lives; she was a devoted and loving aunt, and she treasured spending time with her nieces and nephews. She will be remembered and missed by all who knew her. Prior to her retirement, she was the Office Manager for Porder Manufacturing of Lowell, and for over three decades she was a loyal volunteer at St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua.
She is survived by niece, Paula Pettengill and her husband William; nephew, Stephen Morin and his wife Pattiann; a step son, Malcolm Porder and his wife Theresa and their two daughters, Susan Gaudette and Sandra Hood; and several grand nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends from the Ledgewood Hills community. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her brother Leo Morin, his wife Margaret and niece Debra (Morin) McNayr.
Relatives and friends may call at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME on Thursday, June 2, from 1 to 3 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday morning at 9 a.m. at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 777 W Hollis St. Nashua. Those attending the Funeral Mass are asked to meet at Church. Committal Services will follow in St, Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
