Pauline R. (Bibeault) Shapiro, age 99, a resident of Tyngsborough, MA, passed away comfortably at home on Sunday, April 16, 2023, just ten days before her 100th birthday, with her son George and daughter-in-law Donna Shapiro by her side. She was the widow of the late George A. Shapiro.
Born in Lowell on April 26, 1923, she was a daughter of the late Albee and Bernadette Bibeault.
Pauline was passionate about knitting, macrame, beach combing and creating crafts.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Alfreda Roucher, Marcella Roux, Lorraine Lavigne, Estelle Mullin, Armand Bibeault and Claudette Pattelena.
Pauline is survived by her son George R. Shapiro and his wife Donna; her two granddaughter’s, Christina Porter and Elizabeth Murray and her husband Joe Murray; a grandson, Timothy Shapiro; a great granddaughter, Kaitlyn Murray; and several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends will be received at the Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough, on Friday, April 28, from 8:30 to 10:30 a.m. with a Funeral home prayer service to take place immediately following at 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford.
