Paul F. Wilson, Sr., age 85, a resident of Hudson, NH, passed away on Sunday, May 26, 2024 in Bedford, NH.
He was born in Medford, MA on June 25, 1938, a son of the late Robert and Regina B. (Fitzpatrick) Wilson. He was a graduate of Billerica High School Class of 1956. He then attended Stockbridge School of Agriculture University of Massachusetts, where he earned a degree in horticulture.
He enlisted into the U.S. Army National Guard in 1959 and served until his honorable discharge in 1962.
Paul was very artistic, he was an excellent photographer, wrote poetry, loved singing country music and building the best snowmen.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by Countrybrook Farms in Hudson, NH for many years.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Daniel and Kathleen Wilson of Hudson; two daughters, Lorena and Jennifer Wilson both of Nashua; a granddaughter, Kristina Wilson; two great grandchildren, Keira and Kaden; his former spouse, Helen V. (Quigley) Wilson of Nashua; and many nieces and nephews. He also leaves many extended family members and their families. He was predeceased by his son, Paul F. Wilson, Jr.; his longtime companion, Lucille Morneau; two brothers, Robert and James Wilson; and two sisters, Theresa Silliker and Alice Cushman.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, May 31, 2024 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough. His Funeral Service will take place immediately following in the Funeral Home at 11:30 a.m. Committal Service with Military Honors will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, please plant a tree or a garden in his memory.
