Normand F. Gagniere

Normand F. Gagniere, age 71, a longtime resident of Tyngsborough, passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2026.  He was the beloved husband of Cathy A. (Wright) Gagniere, with whom he recently celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary.

Born in Lowell on February 5, 1955, he was the son of the late Leon R. and Pauline L. (Beauchesne) Gagniere.

He had a deep love for music, whether he was playing guitar or heading off to a concert. Some of his favorite moments were spent going to the beach with his grand dog Casper, playing jokes every chance there was, and being in the yard with his flowers or sitting by the fire.

Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford for over 30 years.

Surviving him in addition to his loving wife Cathy are his daughter, Kerry Gagniere, his grand dog, Casper; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Vivian Provencher and her husband Roger, Pauline Sevigny, and Susan Gagniere; nieces, nephews and cousins; and his dearest friends, Glen, Laura, and Maria.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 28, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough.  His Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow at 1 p.m. at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.
