Noredin H. Morgan PhD

Loving husband, father and grandfather. 

Noredin H. Morgan, PhD, age 76, a resident of Billerica, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 29, 2020.  

He was the loving husband of Fekrya Morgan. Born in Cairo, Egypt on June 9, 1943, he was the son of the late Ahmed H. and Amina (Quadi) Morgan. 

He was educated in Egypt and was a teacher for many years until he immigrated to the United States in 1969 where he earned his PhD from Polytechnic Institute of New York University. Prior to his retirement, Noredin was employed as a research chemist.  Over the course of his career in polymer chemistry, Noredin received many awards and holds several patents.  He is most notably remembered as a passionate artist whose artwork has been been exhibited in several surrounding towns as well as overseas.  

In addition to his wife he is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Kareem and Jessica Morgan of Belmont, MA; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Jasmine and Tim Flaherty of Chelmsford, MA and Nevine and Keston Lewis of Bermuda. He was also the loving grandfather of five grandchildren, Ian, Maya, Benjamin, Mitchell and Nora.

He will always be remembered for how much he loved spending time with family and friends, his classic charm, his unique humor and his unwavering passion for music, art and life.
