Michelle A. (Peloquin) Anderson, age 78, passed away peacefully Friday, April 17, 2026 at The Atrium in Chelmsford, from a long battle with Dementia. She was the beloved wife of Hayden Anderson and was a long time Dracut resident.
Born in Lowell on June 16, 1947, she was a daughter of the late Leonel and Claire (Desruisseaux) Peloquin, she graduated from St. Joseph's High School and also earned her degree from University of Lowell, while working there in the Continuing Education office for nearly twenty years.
Michelle and Hayden travelled extensively, especially in Japan and Singapore where they lived for several years, making good friends and memories. She especially had a passion for the city of Paris, and returned countless times, and also enjoyed our U.S. National Parks.
Michelle was a warm and welcoming host, and especially looked forward to her annual Christmas Cookie Bake. She was an excellent cook, and proud of her French-Canadian specialties. She especially loved spending time with the grandchildren playing cards and games, and watching the family grow.
She was an avid walker, enjoying walks with friends along the Merrimack River, and more recently, walking with Hayden along the lovely grassy fields near their home.
Besides her husband Hayden, she is survived by her two daughters, Linda (Fournier) Frank and partner Thomas Daly of Hanson, MA and Michelle Fournier and her partner Ronald Pucci of Hampton, NH; stepdaughter, Elizabeth (Ross) Burdick and Phillip Anderson of Scarborough, Maine; fifteen grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Cecile Paquin and husband Leo Paquin of Dracut; and two brothers, Jean (Lorna) Peloquin of Clinton, and Louis (Wendy) Peloquin of Billerica and many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by a sister Marie Wagner (and husband Robert) and was also the former spouse of the late Gerard Fournier. She is also survived by many dear friends including life-long friends Irene Ferreira and Debbie Young, her caregiver and loyal advocate.
Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough, on Friday, April 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Graveside Services will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford at 12:30 p.m.
