Melody J. (Gawron) Lee, 54, of Tyngsborough, passed away at home on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the beloved wife of Bobby Lee, with whom she recently celebrated 14 years of marriage - a partnership filled with love and laughter.
Born in Concord, MA on August 25, 1971, Melody was the cherished daughter of the late Gene C. and Janice C. (Wise) Gawron. Her life was defined by strength, resilience, and an extraordinary heart. As a single mother, she worked her way through college, building a life rooted in determination and love. She went on to spend more than 20 years as an Executive Director in early education, where she didn’t just lead - she inspired. Melody created spaces where children felt safe, staff felt valued, and families felt supported. She was a mentor, a guide, and a steady source of encouragement to so many.
To know Melody was to feel her light. Even through a long and difficult illness, she never lost her sense of humor or her ability to lift others up. She had a rare gift - she could walk into any room and instantly make it brighter. If someone was having a bad day, Melody made it better. If a moment needed energy, she brought it. She wasn’t just the life of the party - she was the reason the party came alive.
She loved to laugh, to entertain, and to connect. Melody often joked that she was the greatest rapper of all time, and she would perform for anyone willing to listen - turning everyday moments into something unforgettable with her colorful storytelling and playful spirit.
Her joy was found in the simple and meaningful things: playing games with family and friends, road trips filled with laughter, casino visits, scratch tickets, and her creative outlets—painting on canvas, rocks, herself, or anyone who sat still long enough. Music was at the center of her soul, and she found pure happiness in listening to, singing, and dancing - especially to Michael Jackson, a love she carried from childhood.
Melody also found comfort in her favorite shows—Jeopardy!, Dateline, Forensic Files, along with comedies and reality TV. She loved to travel and experience the beauty of the world. She especially loved Cape Cod, the Grand Canyon, Meredith NH, Maine and many more places that became part of her story.
Above all else, Melody loved deeply. She was fiercely loyal and endlessly giving. She was blessed with her four best friends - Jackie, Bobby, Rob and Kim - and a close circle of friendships that meant the world to her. Her love for her family and friends was constant, powerful, and unconditional.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, strength, and selflessness. In addition to her husband Bobby, Melody is survived by her daughter, Jackie Marie and her spouse, Rob Spencer; her BFF, Rob Iadonisi; her siblings, Christopher Gawron; Kimberlee Leger and her spouse, John; Butch Arsenault; and Paula Arsenault; her “Mom #2,” Dora Durgin; her cousin, Steven Potts; and several nieces and nephews.
Melody’s presence was truly one of a kind, and her absence leaves an immeasurable void. But the joy she gave, the love she shared, and the memories she created will live on in all who knew her.
In accordance with her wishes, services were held privately.
