Maurice “Moe” R. Martin, age 80, a resident of Nashua, NH and formerly of Lowell, passed away on Thursday, June 10, 2021 at the Hillsborough County Nursing Facility in Goffstown, NH, with his family by his side. He was the life partner of Brenda Sullivan for over thirty five years.

Born in Lowell on November 9, 1940, he was a son of the late Charles E. and Marie Jeanne (Saucier) Martin; and the brother of the late Donald H. Martin.

Moe was self-employed as a drywaller for several years and had also worked with many contractors in the area until his illness forced his retirement.

He enjoyed collecting die cast cars, working in his yard and especially using his leaf blower daily making sure the yard was always clean.

Surviving him in addition to Brenda are three daughters and a son-in-law, Cheryl Daigneault of Lowell, Kimberly DaSilva of Lowell and Donna Carkin and her husband Charles of Lowell; a son, Brian Martin of Dracut; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a sister, Dolores A. McArdle of Dracut; nieces and nephews. He is also survived by Beth Roy and her husband Jason as well as their daughters Rachel and Abby who held a very special place in Moe’s heart.

Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Thursday, June 17, from 4 to 6 p.m.  A prayer service will take place immediately following at 6 p.m. in the Funeral Home.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Alzheimer’s Assoc., 225 N Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
