Mary Susan (Fitzpatrick) Theriault Obituary

M. Susan (Fitzpatrick) Theriault, a resident of Lowell, passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2024, at the age of 77.  She was the beloved wife of Maurice G. Theriault, with whom she shared 45 wonderful years of marriage.

Susan was born and raised in Lowell, a daughter of the late Charles and Mary (Maher) Fitzpatrick.  She was educated in the Lowell school system and was a graduate of Lowell High School.

She enjoyed sports and was an avid Red Sox and Bruins fan, loved watching them with her son when they could together. She loved the ocean, spending time in her younger days on the beach, embracing the sun and sound of the waves, the seagulls, making her happy, often with family at Hampton Beach.  She loved to cook for everyone, if you came over; she was always offering some food to you. A wonderful wife and mother, with the biggest, strongest heart, and a beautiful smile, making you feel better on any day you were feeling down. There are no words to describe how much she will be missed by all that loved and cared for her up until her last day, still fighting, and smiling, surrounded by her loving family.

Surviving her in addition to her husband are two daughters and two sons-in-law, Susan and Scott Infantino and Lisa and Owen Timrick; a son, Scott Theriault; two grandchildren, Michael and Joey; a great grandchild, Scarlett; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Charles and LouAnn Fitzpatrick, John Fitzpatrick and Robert and Dottie Fitzpatrick; a sister, Cynthia Tighe; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her sister Dorothy Balbonie.

In accordance with her wishes, Funeral Services will be private.
