Mary Lou Foti, age 82, a resident of St. John, New Brunswick, passed away on New Year’s Eve in Conroe, Texas, after a battle with dementia and cancer. Originally from Tyngsboro, where she lived with her husband Lou, Mary Lou dedicated her life to her family and career.
She was a devoted mother to her daughter Suzanne and a supportive partner in her husband’s business. Mary Lou had a successful career in nursing, demonstrating her strong commitment to caring for others. She was also actively involved in her community, serving as a Girl Scout leader and participating in Rotary alongside her husband.
Mary Lou took great pride in her two grandsons, who were a significant part of her life. She enjoyed traveling and had the opportunity to visit 26 countries across five continents, which brought her much happiness.
She is survived by her sister, Judy Marshall; daughter Suzanne; two grandsons, and many friends and family members. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 777 West Hollis St., Nashua. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery, Tyngsborough. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to a charity of your choice in her memory.
