Mary R. (Donahue) Beauchesne

Mary R. (Donahue) Beauchesne, age 89, a longtime resident of Dracut, passed away on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at D’Youville Senior Care.  She was the widow of the late Donald L. Beauchesne who passed in 2017.

Born in Lowell on July 30, 1936, she was a daughter of the late Charles and Victorine (Clowrey) Donahue.  Mary attended Lowell State Teacher's College, where she earned a bachelor's degree.  Continuing her education, she earned a master's degree from Fitchburg State College.

Mary was employed as an elementary school teacher by the City of Lowell for many years.

She enjoyed knitting, spending time by her pool and taking her daily trip to Top Donut.

She is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Melanie Duval and her husband Robert, Melissa Nee and her husband Timothy; a son and daughter-in-law, Richard Beauchesne and his wife Kim; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Chuck and Jackie Donahue and John Donahue; two sisters-in-law, Francine Donahue and Sue Donahue; and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by three siblings, Daniel, Donald and Frances.

Visitations will be held at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough, on Friday, Sept, 12th from 8:30 to 10 a.m. A prayer service will then take place at 10 a.m. in the Funeral Home.  Burial in Oakland Cemetery, Dracut.
