Marie G. (Ianetta) Armstrong

Marie G. (Ianetta) Armstrong, age 89, a former resident of Tyngsborough, passed away on Thursday, June 22, 2023, at a healthcare facility in Chelmsford.  

Born in Boston on July 7, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Marion (Harris) Ianetta.

Marie was a simple person who enjoyed playing bingo, scratch tickets and always looked forward to spending time with family.

She is survived by two sons and two daughters-in-law, Norman “Jack” and Susan Armstrong and Ronald and Marsha Armstrong; five daughters and four sons-in-law, Marion and James Peretti, Dorothy and William Smith, Margaret and Kevin Lanctot, Angelina Tsatsa and Brenda and David Morin; a daughter-in-law, Victoria Armstrong; granddaughter Isabella Morin; several other grandchildren and great grandchildren; and a brother, Lawrence Ianetta.  She was also the mother of the late Raymond Armstrong and sister of the late Albert Ianetta.

Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 CassawayDr., Tyngsborough on Tuesday, June 27, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  A Funeral Home service will take place immediately following at 7 p.m.
