Marguerite A. Coscia

Marguerite A. Coscia, age 61, a resident of North Chelmsford, passed away suddenly on February 15, 2022. 

Born on September 26, 1960, in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Jeannine (Cote) Coscia.  She grew up in Lexington; was educated in the Lexington school system and was a graduate of Lexington High School.

Marguerite loved the beach more than any other place, loving the warmth of the sun and the calm of the ocean. She passed on great Italian recipes to her children and enjoyed being with them with a good meal and lots of laughter. She always enjoyed spending time with her loved ones and especially loved playing with her grandchildren – even though they were miles apart she would video chat almost daily, singing songs and making them laugh. When she came to visit during the holidays, she loved making gingerbread houses and learning about their interests and school lives. She always made sure they knew how special they were.

She was currently employed as a clerk for the United States Postal Service at the Framingham Postal Office.

She is survived by a son, Derek Kelson of North Chelmsford; a daughter, Krystal Kelson, and her spouse Samantha of Georgia; three grandchildren, Declan Kelson, Skyler Traynham and Alyssa Traynham; two sisters, Deborah Hurd and her spouse Rex of Missouri and Lisa Coscia of Lexington; a niece, Jamie Eckmann and her spouse Mike of Nebraska and a nephew Randy Hurd of Missouri.

Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough, on Sunday from 1 to 3 p.m.  A service will take place in the Funeral Home immediately following at 3 p.m.  Those wishing may make a donation in her memory to the American diabetes Assoc., P.O.
