Lynne M. (Bergeron) Tessier, age 64, a resident of the Pawtucketville section of Lowell, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, with her loving family by her side. She was the beloved wife of George J. Tessier, whom she shared over 43 years of marriage.
She was born in Lowell on October 2, 1960, and was the daughter of the late Pauline B. (Bergeron) Gamache. She was educated at St. Louis Elementary School and graduated from St. Louis High School. Lynne then attended Hesser College where she earned an associate’s degree in Accounting.
Lynne was employed as the Business Office Manager at CareOne Lowell for several years. She was a dedicated employee and would never hesitate to assist the residents and families of CareOne Lowell. Whether it was giving a ride, shopping for items for a resident or just lending a hand, Lynne was always available.
In her spare time, she enjoyed playing Keno, traveling, taking a ride to the casino and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving her in addition to her husband George are two children, Julie Tessier and Kevin Tessier and his wife Christine; two grandchildren, Avery and Emma; a brother, Bob Bergeron; two sisters-in-law, Pauline Scoby and her husband Dave and Diane Tessier Efstathiou; a brother-in-law, Paul Tessier and his wife Carmen; many dear nieces and nephews including her caregiver, Sara McAllister; her dear friend, Michele Witts; and many friends and co-workers from CareOne. In addition to her mother, she was pre-deceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Raoul “Ralph” and Therese Tessier and sister-in-law Aline Houghtaling.
Visitations will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough. Lynne’s Funeral Service will take place on Friday morning at 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home.
