Lucie A. (Kerouac) Giard
TYNGSBOROUGH – Lucie A. (Kerouac) Giard, age 67, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2021, at the Westford House. She was the beloved wife of Raymond E. Giard whom she had been married to for 46 years.
Born in Nashua, NH on February 23, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Alfred and Rachel (Soucy) Kerouac. She was also predeceased by her daughter Lisa Giard. She was a graduate of Nashua Senior High School.
Lucie was very family-oriented and enjoyed raising her children and being a part of their many milestones. She was an avid reader and enjoyed cooking. She loved spending time at the beach with extended family and friends. She loved large family celebrations, especially ones that included a dance floor.
Along with being a homemaker, Lucie also worked for Friel Golf Companies in Hudson for over 20 years.
Surviving her in addition to her husband are a son, Brian Giard of ME; four daughters and four sons-in-law, Laurie Cirillo and her husband Brendan of Merrimack, NH, Marie Bennett and her husband David of Windham, NH, Aimee Paradise and her husband Joshua of Brookline, NH and Emily Bono and her husband Richard of Liverpool, England; twelve grandchildren, Brandon, Madison, Hailey, Rachael, Allison, Mirabelle, Drew, Cecelia, Adam, Lucia, Madeleine and Lilian; two brothers and two sisters-in-law, Richard and Mona Kerouac of Nashua, NH and Jerry and Paula Kerouac of Bennington, NH; also numerous brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Friday morning from 9 to 10:30 a.m. Her Funeral Mass will take place immediately following at 11 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 95 Lakeview Ave., Tyngsborough, which will be live streamed and will be accessible by clicking on the link below. Graveside services will follow in Tyngsborough Memorial Cemetery. Those attending the services will be required to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.
