Louis A. Ledoux
HUDSON, NH – Louis A. “Lou” Ledoux, age 72, a longtime resident of Hudson, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2022, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Carol A. (Bellemare) Ledoux, with whom he shared nearly 50 wonderful years of marriage.
Born in Lowell on December 14, 1949, he was a son of the late Donat P. and Anselma M. (Wright) Ledoux. He was educated at St. Joseph in Lowell. Louis then joined the United States Navy and served during the Vietnam Era from 1969 until his honorable discharge in 1971.
He worked at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford for many years before his retirement.
Louis was an avid watch collector and was always studying how they were made and tinkering with them. He enjoyed nature, working outside in his yard, and his tools. Louis had a wonderful sense of humor and always enjoyed making people laugh. He loved spending time with his family and looked forward to dinners with friends at T-Bones in Hudson.
Surviving him in addition to his wife Carol are two sons and two daughters-in-law, Jamie and Kim Ledoux of Billerica and Ryan and Cindy Ledoux of Lincoln, RI; four grandchildren, Teagan, Sophie, Kylie and Griffin; two brothers, Donald Ledoux of N. Chelmsford and Raymond Ledoux of Tyngsborough; a sister Claudette Weddleton and her partner Joyce of Manchester, NH; his mother-in-law, Lillian Bellemare of N. Chelmsford; his brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Vic Bellemare of Saco, ME, Don Bellemare of Tewksbury, Nicholas and Diane Paige of Nashua and Ken Bellemare of Dracut; also many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, April 2, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough. His Funeral Service with Military Honors will take place during the visitations at 12:30 p.m. to which all are invited.
