Lorette (Langlais)(Cloutier) Leclair Obituary

Lorette B. "Laurie" Leclair (née Langlais, formerly Cloutier) passed away peacefully on February 22, 2024, in Dunedin, Florida, at the age of 87. Born on May 18, 1936, in Lowell, Massachusetts, Laurie lived a life marked by love, kindness, and a warm friendliness that touched everyone she met. Her final days were spent surrounded by the family she adored, as she concluded a brave battle with cancer.
Laurie's early years were spent in her hometown of Lowell, where she attended St. Joseph's High School. After graduation and marriage, she stayed home to care for her children. As her children grew, she embarked on a career that would include many years at St. Joseph's Hospital, later Saints Memorial, a place that benefited greatly from her dedication and caring nature.
Throughout her life, Laurie was fortunate to find love not once, but twice. She was predeceased by her husbands, Raymond W. Cloutier and Richard J. Leclair, both of whom shared wonderful years with her. Her heart was large enough to embrace not only her own children but also the extended family that grew from these unions. Laurie's legacy is carried on by her seven loving children: Linda (Robert) Larrivee, Dennis (Linda) Cloutier, Ronald (Christine White) Cloutier, Robert (Carol) Cloutier, Donna Sevigny, Doreen (Bill) Anderson, and Lisa (Jeff) Ross. Her joy was multiplied with each addition to the family, including her 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren, all of whom brought her immense happiness.
As we say farewell to Lorette B. "Laurie" Leclair, we honor a woman whose life was a beacon of kindness and whose presence enriched the lives of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed, but the love she gave will continue to resonate, reminding us of the beauty of a life spent in loving service to others. Those who wish to do so may make a contribution in her name to Suncoast Hospice.org
