CHELSEA- Mr. Lintao Huang, age 90, a resident of Chelsea, MA, passed away peacefully on March 23, 2025, at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. He was surrounded by his loving family. He had been the husband of Ms. Guiying Chen for 62 years.
Born in Xianyou County, Fujian Province, China, he was the son of the late Chunyu Huang and Qiguan Yue. He was a graduate of the Xianyou No. 2 High School.
Prior to his retirement, he was a cadre of Fuzhou Railway Electrical Engineering Co.
Lintao enjoyed walking, traveling and he always loved spending time with his family.
Surviving him are his wife Guiying Chen of Chelsea; a son and a daughter-in-law, Xudong Huang and Jenny Zhan of Andover; two daughters and sons-in-law, Xuli Huang and Kenneth A. Gervais of Chelsea, Xubin Huang and Benny Liu of North Reading; four grandchildren: Conan Huang of East Boston, Willa Huang of West Roxbury, Qian Huang of Stoneham, Meicen Liu and her husband Yikang Guo of North Reading, and friends.
Relatives and friends may come for wake hours at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Wednesday (March 26, 2025) from 6 to 9 pm. Funeral will start on Thursday (March 27, 2025) morning at 10 am. Burial will follow in the West Parish Garden Cemetery, Andover, around 11:30 am. After the burial, a bereavement lunch will be held in The Chateau, 131 River Road, Andover, MA 01810
No wreaths and flowers please! Those wishing may make a memorial donation to the Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) (https://giving.massgeneral.org/donate) in memory of Lintao Huang, and please designate the gifts to the Psychiatry Department.
