Linda Reid

Linda J. Reid of Nashua, NH passed away on December 7, 2022, at the age of 63, surrounded by her loving family. Linda was born on October 3, 1959 in Arlington, MA. She attended Lowell public schools, where she met the love of her life, Gerry. 

Linda ran a home daycare for many years, becoming a second mother to dozens of children. She was also a Lowell crossing guard and later a CNA in both Florida and Massachusetts. 

Linda had many hobbies including crafts, gardening, dancing, relaxing on the beach, spending time with family and friends, and coaching t-ball. One of Linda’s greatest joys was being involved with her son Ryan’s hockey and baseball teams in Lowell. 

Linda is survived by her husband of forty years, Gerald Reid of Nashua, NH, her son Ryan of Braintree, MA, and four grandchildren. 

She is also survived by her siblings Robert Hooker Sr. (Denise) of Lowell, MA, Frank Hooker (Karen) of Hudson, NH, Coleen Guild (David) of Jaffery, NH, her aunt Brenda Dean and her late husband Paul of Nashua, NH, her stepfather Joseph Russo of Kissimmee, FL, many nieces and nephews, especially Robert Hooker Jr., and many close friends. 

Linda was predeceased by her parents Frank Hooker and Felicia Belcastro Russo. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Memorial Mass on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10 a.m. at St. Kathryn Parish, Lowell Rd., Hudson, NH.  A Memorial Visitation to celebrate Linda's life will take place immediately following from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Drive in Tynsgborough, MA, to which all are welcome.
