Lillian L. (Gagne) L’Heureux, age 77, a resident of Dracut and a former resident of Nashua, NH, passed away peacefully at the High Pointe Hospice House, on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. She was the wife of the late Robert R. L’Heureux who passed in 2022.
Born in Lowell on December 3, 1946, she was the daughter of the late Leo J. and Rolande B. (Baillargeon) Gagne. She was educated in the Lowell school system and was a graduate of Lowell High School.
Before her retirement, Lil was employed for close to forty years as a bus operator for the Lowell Regional Transit Authority.
She was an avid sports enthusiast, enjoyed traveling to Utah to visit her son, and she always looked forward to dinners with extended family.
She is survived by a daughter, Coleen Levasseur of Pelham; a son, Doug Levasseur and his partner Amanda Howe of Utah; her golden retriever Annie; her brother, Roger H. Gagne of Pelham, her step-children and their spouses, Robin and Carlos Silva of Lowell, Robert and Paula L’Heureux of Weymouth and Richard and Tracy L’Heureux of Merrimack NH; step-grandchildren, Amanda, Derrick, Alyssa, Rebecca and Casey; great grandchildren, Zachary and Ethan, as well as many close cousins and dear friends.
Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough, on Sunday, Feb. 18, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday morning at 10 a.m.in the Funeral Home.
