Kevin G. Petersen, age 63, a resident of Manchester, NH, passed away suddenly on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at his home.
He was born in Winthrop, MA on March 9, 1962; he was a son of the late Walter and Carol (Vantyne) Petersen. He was educated in the Winthrop and Lynnfield school system and was a graduate of Lynnfield High School.
Kevin had an extensive career in automotive sales having worked at North Shore Lincoln Mercury in Peabody MA for thirty years and Commonwealth Motors in Lawrence, MA for over fifteen years. Recently he was currently employed by the Stonebridge Traffic Control Company the last three years.
Enjoyments and hobbies; Kevin was a proud American and loved his country. He loved Classic Rock, football, great food watching the Patriots Game every Sunday, cookouts on the grill, admiring nature around him, sharing funny stories and mostly spending time with his family and dogs Monty and Louie.
He is survived by two daughters, Amanda Russo and her husband Tyler and Shelby Petersen and her boyfriend Neil Gwin; a granddaughter, Milah Russo; his spouse, Barbara (Proulx) Petersen; two brothers, Skip Petersen and Timmy Petersen and his wife Sandra; two sisters, Sally Petersen and Kelly McKinnon; as well as many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Kevin McKinnon and sister, Debby Fuller.
Relatives and friends may visit with the family on Sunday January 4th from 1 pm to 3 pm at the Tyngsborough Funeral Home, 4 Cassaway Drive, Tyngsborough.
