Joseph Talty, a resident of Londonderry, NH, passed away on July 24, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Dianne Talty, with whom he shared 37 years of marriage.
Joe’s life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his family and the causes he held dear. He demonstrated an unyielding commitment to serving others through various avenues, including donating to food pantries in lieu of birthday, Christmas, and Father’s Day gifts, donating gift cards to pharmacies to be used by those struggling to pay for their medicine, and volunteering to restore signs for the community he lived in.
Born on August 4, 1956, Joe was the son of the late Daniel and Helen Talty. He attended St. Patrick’s Elementary School and graduated from Lowell High School, as well as Northern Essex Community College with a degree in Business Management.
Joe owned and operated Wagner Manufacturing for many years, and also established, owned and operated Health Care Partners in Dracut, MA, prior to his retirement in 2016.
There were many places Joe enjoyed traveling to, including the UK, Vancouver, Newport, RI, and Old Orchard Beach. He also loved spending time at his condo in Naples, FL. When he was home, Joe happily spent hours woodworking in his garage, creating cutting boards for his family, and along with Joanne and Joann, he was one of “The Three J’s” who completed the sign restorations at his condo complex. Joe was also an avid Red Sox fan and loved attending Spring Training games in Florida.
Surviving Joe are his wife, Dianne; his children Daniel McCorry (Heather); Lea Weddleton (Trevor); Bethany Moore; and Joseph Talty, who were the light of his life; his grandchildren Riley Moore, Kayla McCorry, and Guillermo Talty, who brought immeasurable joy into Grampy’s world; his siblings Dan Talty, Norma Murphy (Garry), and Richard Talty (Dianne), and several nieces and nephews.
