Joseph P. Kearney, Jr.

It is with unimaginable sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved son, Joseph P. Kearney, Jr., on September 16, 2025, at the age of 43. Joseph was born in Lowell on July 20, 1982, sharing his birthday with his mother.

Joseph was the cherished son of Joseph P. and Gail M. (Kostoulakos) Kearney. He was educated in the Tyngsborough school system and graduated from Tyngsborough High School with the Class of 2001.

A passionate sports fan and avid sports memorabilia collector, Joseph also loved spending time with family and friends. Those who knew Joe will remember his warmth, light, and dedication to both his work and the people around him.

Joseph worked as the Assistant Bakery Manager at Whole Foods in Westford, where he was deeply valued by his coworkers.

In addition to his loving parents, Joseph is survived by his brother, Christopher T. Kearney; his sister and brother-in-law, Jessica L. Capraro and her husband, Scott; his niece, Evelyn Capraro; his maternal grandmother, Shirley Kostoulakos; as well as many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, James and Alice Kearney, and Thomas Kostoulakos.

Joseph’s presence, kindness, and enthusiasm for life will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Funeral services will be held privately.
