WESTFORD - Jeannette (Bergeron) Lausier, 83, passed away peacefully on Sunday morning with the love of her life, Bob, by her side. Born in Lowell, she was the daughter of the late Henri and Bernadette (Touzin) Bergeron. She grew up in Lowell, moved to Tyngsboro with Bob and raised her family there in the house he built for her. They would have celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on April 12, 2023.
She is survived by her son Richard and his wife Tilcia Lausier of Tampa, FL, her daughter Linda and her husband Steven Zerbinopolous of Hudson, NH and her daughter Lisa and her husband Ronald Yates of Westford, MA. Seven grandchildren, Erica and her husband James Keeley, Katie and her husband Zachary Hunnewell, Justin Zerbinopolous, all of Nashua, NH, Christina Lausier and her fiancé Brandon Rossi, Ricky Lausier and his fiancée Morgan Kelley of Tampa, FL, Sydney Yates and Trevor Yates of Westford, MA. Six great-grandchildren Alexia, Aubree, Peyton, Mason, Ella and Maverick; four great great-grandchildren, Paisley, Emma, Ella, Brielle. She is also survived by her sister Rita St.Onge of Pelham, NH and brother Roger Bergeron and his wife Joan of Chelmsford, MA and sister in law, Sandra Bergeron and many nieces, nephews and in-laws.
In 1997, Janet and Bob moved in with her daughter and her family in Westford. They retired in 2001 and enjoyed driving back and forth from Westford, MA to Tampa and Bonita Springs, FL for more than 20 years. She enjoyed traveling, visiting the many places around the world where her son was stationed in the USAF. Jeannette was a hot ticket who enjoyed going to Bingo, playing cards, talking about her family to anyone who would listen, dressing Bob to match her and taking pictures in front of a restaurant or with a drink in her hand to post on Facebook! Bob truly made her the happiest woman. A love like theirs is only written about in fairy tales and story books.
She was pre-deceased by her three infant children, Joseph, Mary and Karen and her twin sister Annette (Blacky) Shaughnessy, sister Simone Lausier, brothers Gerald, Raymond and Roland Bergeron and her granddaughter’s late husband Timothy Mercier.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Committal Service on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 12 noon in the Chapel at St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the American Cancer Society at https://donate3.cancer.org/.
