Jeanne (Ozella) Trask Obituary

Jeanne M. (Ozella) Trask, a resident of Milford, NH passed away peacefully at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack, NH on Tuesday, May 1, 2024, with her family by her side.  She was the beloved wife of the late Thomas R. Trask who died in 2013. 

She was born in Lowell, a daughter of the late Michael Ozella and the late Ellen F. (Ryder) (Ozella) Frangente.  Jeanne was a graduate of St. Patrick’s High School, Lowell and was a parishioner of St. John the Evangelist Parish and more recently of St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Merrimack, NH and was a longtime member of the Legion of Mary.

Jeanne was an outstanding cook and baker and had a passion for shopping. Her appearance was always impeccable; she was a true fashion plate that kept up with all the latest styles.

Prior to her retirement, she worked in retail for many years at Sears and Roebuck and later Macy’s.

She is survived by three sons and one daughter, Robert and his wife Deborah Trask of FL, Stephen and his wife Gail Trask of NH and Kenneth Trask of NH; a daughter, Lisa Trask and her fiancé Michael Perry of CA; eight grandchildren, Andrew Trask and his wife Nicole, Jennifer Trask and Brendan Graff, Allison Nicholson and her husband David, Meghan Smith and her husband Scott, Taryn Robins and her husband Greg, Samuel Trask and his wife Meghan, Sidney Wingert and Brandon Lawrence; six great grandchildren, Henry Nicholson, Arthur Nicholson, Violet Smith, Westley Smith, Emerson Robins and Story Robins; two sisters, Maryellen Daigle of NH and Nancy Gilbert of NH; a brother-in-law, Edmond Duchesne of NH; and several nieces and nephews.

Jeanne was pre deceased by her daughter-in-law, Diane Trask; a brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Teresa Ozella; two sisters, Theresa Duchesne and Anna Cullen; a brother-in-law, Robert Gilbert and her very dear friend June Martino.

Relatives and Friends will be received on Monday, May 6, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME, 4 Cassaway Dr, Tyngsborough.  Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday morning at 11 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist Parish, 115 Middlesex Rd., N. Chelmsford.  Burial will be Private in the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen, NH.  Those wishing may make a donation in her memory to the Community Hospice House, 210 Naticook Rd., Merrimack, NH 03054 or by visitinghttp://https://www.hhhc.org/
