Jacqueline M. (Bolduc) Lamoureux
Jacqueline M. (Bolduc) Lamoureux, age 88, a former resident of Lowell MA and Windham NH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 16, 2022, with family by her side, at the Fairview Nursing Home in Hudson NH. She was the widow of the late Emile L. Lamoureux.
Born in Lowell on December 8, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Louis and Gerardine (Chouinard) Bolduc.
Jackie graduated from the former St. Joseph High School for Girls in Lowell, and later was certified as a Licensed Practical Nurse through the Tewksbury State Hospital School of Nursing.
After her nursing certification, Jackie worked in Central Supply and on medical-surgical wards at the former St. Joseph Hospital in Lowell. She also practiced nursing at d’Youville Manor in Lowell until her health required her to end her nursing practice.
Jackie was a woman of strong faith and was an active member of the former St Jean Baptiste Parish, the former Ste Jeanne d’Arc Parish and Holy Family Parish in Lowell, and St. Patrick Church in Pelham. She was a Eucharistic Minister and would bring Holy Communion to those who were homebound.
She enjoyed walking on the Riverwalk along the Merrimack River in Lowell, as well as knitting and sewing blankets, sweaters, and clothing for family and friends.
She was predeceased by her infant son, Marc J. Lamoureux, and is survived by three sons and a daughter-in-law, Roger E. and Michelle Lamoureux of N. Chelmsford, Paul H. Lamoureux and his husband Darryl Tibble of Joliet, IL, and Marc M. Lamoureux of Lowell; two daughters and two sons-in-law, Suzanne M. Toupin and her husband Roger of Windham, NH and Patricia A. Jayroe and her husband Mark of Lowell; seven grandchildren, Christopher Toupin, Steven Toupin, Joseph Toupin, Monique Jayroe, Janelle Jayroe, Jarred Jayroe and the late April Toupin; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters; Lorraine Bourassa of TX, Charlotte H. Bolduc of Phoenix AZ, and Cecile Bolduc of Hampton NH; and several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Roger and Louis Bolduc.
Relatives and friends will be received on Saturday, Dec. 3rd, at 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. in St. Patrick’s Church, 12 Main St., Pelham. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated immediately following at 11 a.m. Committal services in St. Joseph Cemetery, Chelmsford. Per Jackie’s request, in lieu of flowers, a memorial donation in her name may be made to the Food Pantry at St. Patrick Church, 12 Main St., Pelham, NH.
