Gloria c. (Hogan) Kirk

TYNGSBOROUGH – Gloria C. (Hogan) (Lemieux) Kirk, age 84, a resident of Tyngsborough, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 16, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.  She was the wife of Thomas “Tom” Kirk.

Born in Lowell, on August 23, 1938, she was a daughter of the late William and Rita (Ducharme) Hogan.

Over the years, Gloria worked in many local garment shops as a stitcher and floor lady.  Prior to her retirement, she worked at Raytheon in South Lowell as a precision instrument assembler.

Gloria loved being with family and friends and celebrating special occasions; especially with her great grandson Donovan.  She also enjoyed spending time with all her friends in Myrtle Beach, SC.

Surviving her in addition to her husband Tom are a son, Richard Lemieux of Dover, NH; a grandson, Patrick McMahon and his girlfriend Becky Fidler of Tyngsborough; a granddaughter, Kathryn McMahon and her fiancé Adam Cordeiro of Pepperell; a great grandson, Donovan Cordeiro; a sister and brother-in-law, Carol and Clarence Lamphier of Deltona, FL; a sister-in-law, Gail Weeks; two brothers-in-law, Anthony Pereira and Gerald Driscoll; also many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

Gloria was also the mother of the late Cheryl C. McMahon who passed away in December of 2022 and sister of the late James Hogan, Eileen Pereira, Linda Driscoll and Robert Hogan.

Relatives and friends will be received at the TYNGSBOROUGH FUNERAL HOME 4 Cassaway Dr., Tyngsborough on Friday, June 23, from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.  A Funeral Home service will take place immediately following at 6 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place • Memphis, TN 38105 or at www.stjude.org.
